The LÖGLEN construction system is the result of a century of research and development, opening a new chapter in the building industry with its excellent technical parameters. The technology has created a new and unique solution by combining to systems. We combine a steel or wood pillar structure with polystyrene foam-concrete in a special technology.
Areas of Application
- Family homes, public buildiungs, educational buildings, health buildings, hotels, offices, industrial halls etc.
Construction process
You can follow the constuction-works of a gross 180m2 big family home with wood pillar structure on the pictures. After the foundation the construction time of the LÖGLEN house took 16 days.
History of LÖGLEN
Past
We often get questions about the reasons for, contributing factors in and the manner of the creation of the LÖGLEN system. Its inventor is neither an architect nor an expert in construction, but is a plant designer. The invention – now on its way to world success - is based on a concept that assumes the existence of an architectural system making possible the production of more simple, transparent, more easily projectable and, most of all, more practicable installations for both plan designers and specialists in power supply management. More
Thus, the inventor started to do research to look into all the architectural systems actually present on the market and over the last few years – and drew the conclusion that there are no systems on the market which could offer integral solutions for presently-existing problems. From this conclusion, he began a research and development process that would be able to combine several materials, structural and system-related elements. After several failures while experimenting, he then found, owing to his perseverance, two types of construction material that could be combined. One of them is concrete of polystyrene, being suitable for development owing to its unique thermal insulation properties its air and steam permeability and, also, its fire resistance. Up to now, this material, which has been well- known for 25 years on the market, has only been used in architectural plastic art in the production of decorative elements and stuccos. Its application was not widespread due to its restricted areas of usage, i.e. being connected just to the construction systems known up to then. The concrete of polystyrene was produced in both fused and injected variants - thus, one of the types of material was well-known, yet it was not suitable for use in construction due to the lack of its static structure. So, the next step was to find the right weight-bearing capacity - and the inventor’s attention was drawn to light-frame structure technologies. He liked the fact that these buildings can be easily projected and made with millimetre precision. The two types of material - concrete of polystyrene and a wooden or steel support - were first combined in his laboratory in May of 2003 and the combination went on from there... The combination of the two materials and the creation of their weight-bearing capacity was developed as a result of several experiments with the use of tests and other measures, items made in university laboratories, while resorting to statics, energetic, air and steam permeability and fire resistance. In the meantime, both the world and the construction sector had undergone a series of innovations and changes over the centuries and previous changes were accelerated. Thermal maintenance and the insulation capacity of buildings became very important, as did fire- resistance due to the prior introduction of many new construction materials whose incorrect usage had caused several human tragedies due to fire. The invention therefore had to face up to a series of challenges from a new world – and these challenges became effective in legal terms in many countries of the EU and the world.
In the development process, continuous attention was paid to the challenges of a changing world, and attention had also to be given to ever more severe EU regulations. However, all these challenges benefitted the new system. In the development process, gradual modifications were made in relation to the technological-structural parameters so that it could meet all challenges - and the most severe regulations - when introduced onto the market. In 2007, development had reached a point where architectural quality check tests could be done. These tests occurred in accredited laboratories of the non-profit company of quality control and innovation in building (ÉMI), in Hungary. The results of the tests verified that data corresponded with figures arrived at in the development period - and they gave surprising results even for experts. A brand new constructing system has now been created, whose parameters provide an answer and solution to all present requirements and challenges, and they meet even the most severe construction regulations existing in the world. The LÖGLEN system has been created!
Present
The Löglen Building system has probably become the most modern and multilateral technology of the world. It has all the building permits issued by the Authorities which demonstrates that it represents the highest quality level. The technology has been authorized to being used for the construction of houses and communitarian buildings of unlimited height. So, all the building types or forms can be constructed. More
Regardless, development and research are still going on in the company’s laboratories and the developing centres of several famous universities. The most significant experts of the building industry have recognized the technology and declared that it provides solution to a series of important pending problems of the last decades.
Our providers are well-known multinational companies which have also acknowledged that the Löglen technology is one of the decisive components of the future building industry. Our model houses are constantly under construction. Regardless that the technology has not been introduced yet to the experts and consumers of the international market, communication is acquired from all over the world on a daily basis. It obviously demonstrates the building industry tackles with the same urgent problems all over the world. These problems are mainly focused on the reduction of energy consumption to a minimum, the fastness of construction and its practical aspect, the problem of the ideal weight of buildings, environmental protection, waste management and fire and the catastrophe protection of buildings. There is a growing number of architects paying attention to the LÖGLEN technology because, as a unique technology, it provides integrated solution to the adequate construction of any buildings. We collaborate with one of the two biggest software developing and producing companies which provides the half of the world’s architects with design software alongside with Microsoft. This software is called ArchiCad. The goal of our common development is to integrate the LÖGLEN technology with the latest upcoming version of the design software.
Today the LÖGLEN brand is equivalent to the highest quality and at the price of traditional technologies. Our educational program has been launched and it will soon be integrated into one of the educational subjects of high schools and universities. It can be obviously stated that LÖGLEN technology has arrived and started to win over the world. It is a new building system free of rivals and the first product of its category has been created.
Future
Our goal is to introduce the LÖGLEN system and have it become well-known all over the world. Our dream is to create a world that is free of architectural and construction problems - and more humanistic environment with the LÖGLEN system can be a part of this. More
We wish to introduce LÖGLEN technological know-how in co-operation with our business partners in order to put up cleaner, cheaper and more environmentally-friendly and economical buildings for both ourselves and future generations.
